Since 2019, the archives of most newspapers in Kashmir especially The Daily Greater Kashmir, Kashmir Reader and Kashmir Times have been wiped from the internet. I wrote for articles for all of them. In the daily Greater Kashmir in addition to individual articles I wrote a dedicated column titled Point Blank for almost a decade between 1999-2009 under pseudonym S A Zia. The record of all these articles has been erased from the internet. I have documented the phenomenon of enforced disappearance of writing on Kashmir in Kashmir Lit the magazine that I founded in 2008. Kashmir Lit is often hacked as well.
